Greg DiBona
Music Director and Administrator
Gregory DiBona, has served as Music Director for Covenant
Presbyterian Church for the past several years. He is an experienced performer,
teacher, and accompanist. A classically trained pianist, Greg has performed in
venues such as Carnegie Hall, Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, The White
House, Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City and Longwood Gardens.
He earned his Master of Music Degree from Manhattan School of Music and his Bachelor
of Music Degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania where he studied
piano and organ.
As the leader of the music department, Greg provides
organ/piano music, leads the Bell Choir with longtime member, Carol Lovell,
leads the Chancel Choir, invites musical guests, and collaborates with the
Pastor, Session, and members of the congregation to provide spiritual
nourishment through participation in music.
As a piano teacher, Greg is skilled in drawing out the
talent of each member who is interested in participating in the music
department. Greg has worked with all ages and levels from beginners to very
advanced. All are always welcomed and are instructed by Greg with the
assistance of the other members in the ensemble/congregation. Because of his
nurturing personality, musical abilities are encouraged and cultivated, and
members can serve God through the music ministry at Covenant Presbyterian
Church. We invite any prospective member to join one of our ensembles and feel
Christ’s love through this musical community.
Additionally, Greg serves the Covenant Presbyterian Church
community as the administrator producing all of documents and forms for
members, updating and maintaining records, and a plethora of other
responsibilities. Anyone is welcome to stop by the office during the week to
say hello. Greg is willing to help members with their administrative needs. He
will always greet you with a smile!
