Adult Music Ministry
Covenant's
Chancel Choir is directed by Mr. Greg DiBona. The choir of approximately 15
members regularly sings for Sunday worship providing the congregation with a
variety of challenging SATB anthems ranging from contemporary to classical. The Adult Choir practices 10:45 am Sunday
after the Worship Service, September to May.
Gregory DiBona
Gregory
DiBona, has served as Music Director for Covenant Presbyterian Church for the
past several years. He is an experienced performer, teacher, and accompanist. A
classically trained pianist, Greg has performed in venues such as Carnegie
Hall, Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, The White House, Cathedral of St.
John the Divine in New York City and Longwood Gardens. He earned his Master of
Music Degree from Manhattan School of Music and his Bachelor of Music Degree
from West Chester University of Pennsylvania where he studied piano and organ.

leads the Chancel Choir, invites musical guests, and collaborates with the
Pastor, Session, and members of the congregation to provide spiritual
nourishment through participation in music.
As a
piano teacher, Greg is skilled in drawing out the talent of each member who is
interested in participating in the music department. Greg has worked with all
ages and levels from beginners to very advanced. All are always welcomed and
are instructed by Greg with the assistance of the other members in the
ensemble/congregation. Because of his nurturing personality, musical abilities
are encouraged and cultivated, and members can serve God through the music
ministry at Covenant Presbyterian Church.
We
invite any prospective member to join one of our ensembles and feel Christ’s
love through this musical community.
Additionally, Greg serves the Covenant Presbyterian Church
community as the administrator producing all of documents and forms for
members, updating and maintaining records, and a plethora of other
responsibilities. Anyone is welcome to stop by the office during the week to
say hello. Greg is willing to help members with their administrative needs. He
will always greet you with a smile!
Under the
direction of Carol Lovell, Covenant's Adult Bell Choir has been a part of the
worship since its debut in the fall of 1999. The Bell Choir's musical taste
would best be described as "far ranging", including classical,
traditional, gospel, contemporary, and praise styles. The choir is
made up of twelve ringers and a number of regular substitutes, ringing four
octaves of handbells and handchimes. The choir typically rings during worship
one Sunday each month, and also participates in Easter, Christmas, and other
special services. Practice rehearsals are held every Monday from 7:00pm until
8:00pm, September to May
